Bowl of Moss

For some reason lately I have wanted to try making a nano terrarium. I think it is from enjoying the jungle wall above my 90 gal tank.

I have a lot of moss in my back yard since I live in Portland, Oregon and this time of year, a moss lawn would be easier to grow than a grass one. So, I picked up a glass bowl at Goodwill and used some extra ADA AS I had laying around, some blue ground cover plant from the grocery store, some broken up rocks, and some moss from the back yard. I am happy with the results.

And I though taking good pictures of an aquarium was difficult.

Wow, it looks great! Does it take any work to maintain or do you just get to watch it grow without any trouble?

I just set it up yesterday, so I am not sure how much attention it is going to need. But I imagin that a couple shots from a spray bottle and it should be good.

IME moss needs moist soil and humidity above 60%. if you want i can get you some moss that has a vertical growth pattern (grows straight up). it can be used to add some vertical variation, and should do fine with the mosses u already have there (its temperate, like ur local moss, so it will not mind the dormancy).
