Pond PH

Getting alot of rain in Florida right now; and it's changeing the ph of my 5k gal pond. Water comes out of the well at 7.4 which is used to fill the pond and top offs. After a few weeks of rain, the pond dropped to 6.8 and the water hardness dropped along with it. What does everyone use to keep their ph stable? (Remember it's 5k gals. see "My Pond" for discription)

PS: someone suggested salt?

We've been getting a lot of rain up here in Michigan too, and to be honest I don't really worry about the pH changing too much. Koi are fairly hardy, and unless they show discomfort I avoid adding anything to my pond, not only to keep stress down, but my pond although only at 4,000 gallons, as you very well know, the cost of stuff adds up pretty quickly.

I personally figure the rain water is probably changing the pH at a fairly gradual rate, and most of it is draining out anyway through the overflow pipe on my skimmer, but right now, I just see it as a no cost water change
