Black spots/patches on pond fish, with photo

Hi guys
My Mum noticed some of her pond fish have black spots and patches on them which have appeared suddenly. Not all the fish have it and its been there for a few weeks. A quick google search tells me it could be ammonia burn or a parasite called "black spot", but I honestly know nothing about ponds so thought I'd ask you guys
Here's a picture of one of her blue orfes -

Its not a great photo as its taken on a phone but it sort of gives you a good idea
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance

Please excuse my spelling and lack of paragraphs - its my phone's fault!
