4 Tubs in Mid Florida

I have 4 tubs, two 75 gals. with sponge filers and two small tubs (30 gals) one with just an air stone. Each large tubs have 300-watt heaters and lots of plants; one large tub contains Neolamprologus brichardi with mosquito fish; and the other fancy guppies. The one smaller planted with water lily offshoots contains mosquitofish; the other is solid vals with a small water lily in the middle, no fish. They are left out all year round. The temps average around 76 to 80 in the big tubs and 75 to 85 in the smaller ones. (I actually disconnect the heaters in the summer) I've never had a mosquito problem.

You're in Florida - that's cheating! lol (I did a 110g stock tank in Central New York last year, but just for the spring/summer/early fall. It's in the basement now where it will most likely stay).

Tank On, Mike-
60g Marineland Community, Finnex Planted+ 24/7, Silica (pool filter) sand.
10g, 29g, & 37g fry grow out tanks, 110g stock tank.

What came first, the chicken or the egg. It was the egg, but not the egg of a chicken.

I was wondering if you were going to do round #2 this year! Though besides today and a couple others it's a wet and cool start in UNY.

I have a brand new 110 gal stock tank just waiting to get filled up and stocked! I did an 18 gallon tote a couple of years ago and really liked it so why not go a little bigger!

Wimping out and leaving the 110g stock tank* in the basement (no bullfrogs!) although I will do several outdoor tubs for daphnia and mosquito larvae.
(*colony breeding continues to produce lots of quality swordtails)

I find it is too much trouble to keep the raccoons out when I try outside. They have way more time and energy to figure it out than I to find new solutions! While they don't always catch the fish, they certainly do in the plants while trying!

Problem

One of the tubs now has fish lice. No idea how it got infected, but it did. Now treating 75 gals of water for the parasite.
One of the problems with outside water features. It's guppies and I may have to end up trying to catch all the fish, dumping
the tub and starting over with new plants. Treating it with two different meds, one being copper based. I'll give it a
couple of weeks to see if it clears, but need to get rid of any snails as they're the carrier of the parasite. I'll try and
catch a few fish to take pics of the problem.
