Water Lilies gone crazy!

For some reason, my water lilies have gone crazy this summer. I'm having between 5 and 10 blooms per day.
In addition, you can see that their growing like crazy. They were fertilized in May, and one was uprooted by the koi
recently but took off again when replanted. Have another half dozen in tubs from cuttings that are maturing.

Here's a couple of close-ups of the type of blooms, it's the best I can do with the camera I have.

Water Color

The watercolor is due to the crepe myrtle flowers falling into the water. If the koi don't eat them the skimmer will pick them up;
but for some reason stains the water. I've added clarifiers but it still looks like weak tea.
