Green hair algae or green fuzz algae

Hey everyone, so recently I planted a tissue culture that was in poor condition and had a bad green hair algae bloom. I noticed most the algae was on the leaves closest to the light so I decided to get some floating plants decrease the photo period from 7 to 6 hours because of how bright my light is. My question is will my plants that have the green fuzz algae recover or should I bite the bullet and trim them?

If the leaves won't recover then it's best to cut your losses and trim them.

Often, algae grows on dying leaves that aren't super obvious they are dying yet anyways. I assume it's from the leaves not sucking up nutrients, letting the algae fall on them a
