Is this green hair algae?

My tank always suffers from green dust algae which starts to form 3 to 4 days after I scape it off on my water change day. Well to ight I came home and it looks like this. Is this green hair algae? If so, will a h202 treatment work on it?

Oooh, that's beautiful!!! If you had shrimp they would LOVE it! LOL

I would definetly do a double punch treatment if you want it gone: https://www.plantedtank.net/forums/23...treatment.html

I'm not sure. I've never had it, but it is definitely in the filamentous/hair group.

Maybe beard algae?

Do you have a photo that's less zoomed in, so we can have some reference? TBH, it just looks like a Van-Gogh painting with what you've given us.

I don't think it is beard algae as it tends to be much darker in colour

It's back again! Its hard to tell from the photo but you can see it moving with the water flow. I've cut my photo period to 9 hours and stopped dosing all ferts and it still came back.

There's also this funky film on the tip of the water. Any ideas?
