Left on side of the road and repurposed!

A disgruntled mom decided to teach her son a lesson and I am reaping the benefits!

So I think its a fluval ebi. It came with the sand
Background
Filter
And heater

Not sure of any brand names.

I set up an architect light with a 8 watt led bulb in it.

Not sure about all the plants inside but some came from Daisy Mae!

Needless to say my fiancÚs betta got a new home!

Add some floating plants like frogbit and that will be one very happy betta (they don't like super bright light-can't squint or wear sunglasses like us). I'd also recommend taking some black sponge/foam media and cutting it to em a hick 'sock' to slip over the intake to protect the bettas fins so they don't get sucked in and shredded. If the betta is not going into the current of the outflow also consider a piece of cut foams stuffed in the outflow to reduce current.

Due to photobuckets new bs cost for use of images on forums I have deleted all photobucket accounts. I apologize if you enjoyed or found my photos helpful.

Frog bit is awesome. Grows like crazy, sucks out Nitrates. Plus it looks really cool... the roots grow down vertically and have a million little hair roots. Just beautiful and elegant.

I've had some for just 2 weeks now and I've already thrown away around the same amount I originally purchased, just so things don't get too shaded.

Oh the filter was just in there to clear up the water when I flooded the tank.

A sponge filter will be placed in the corner behind the driftwood and plants.

I took some salvinnia minima and also placed it on the tank to cover him from the light.
