10g CPD and Shrimp Tank

Last October I set up a CPD tank. Thought I'd give you a progression of growth.

When I first set it up I packed it with plants. NO real scape. Just wanted to speed up new tank cycle.

In February

How it is today. I have been traveling a lot this year and all my tanks have taken a hit. This one is recovering. You can see I've changed some of the plants. It'll be a few weeks until the plants recover from missing ferts dosing. Some has stunted pretty badly.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

Just keeping on keeping on....

Thanks! It needs to get a little more healthy. I have a little straightening up to do in there,- too many plants here and there. The foreground is Elatine tirandra. I love that plant!

The kelvin rating on your light in the second two pics is soooo much better than the color of the light in the first pic too, btw. Are you using an Eheim for filtration? 2213?

Part of the color issue in the photo is me learning how to adjust my camera. I compensated for the type lights and adjusted the white balance, (thanks to Jason Baliban! ). That's about all I know how to do. I also put a black background on the tank. I think that helps a lot.

Yes, I am using an Eheim 2213. It's a great flow. Keeps nutrients and CO2 well mixed!
