Any experience buying stones from Aqua Forest Aquarium

I didn't really want to do it, but I just can't find stones anywhere and Ive been looking for over a month now. I am probably going to get Ryuo stone from aqua forest aquarium. I have a standard 10gallon I was looking to make into a iwagumi. I have a lot of plants so I don't need lots/large stones. If I were to only buy 5lbs of stone, would it just be one 5lb stone or a couple smaller rocks? Or should I go ahead and get 10lbs?

If anyone wants to be a hero and sell me some of their stones I would really appreciate it. I only need a couple. haha

You should contact them before hand and tell them what size rocks you want (large or small) and the shape (show them a picture if you have a reference) and they'll let you know that 15 lbs buys 1 large, 2 medium, and 1 small, etc.

This is 5 lbs of manten in my Mini M. Here are the same rocks after being broken by a hammer.

You need to look for an aggregate supplier or a landscape supplier. Here is a google using Spring Texas. At least one of these has to sell stone by the pound.

Unless of course your looking for something really specific.

volatile, i have sent them at least 3 emails over the last couple of weeks with no answer. Did you email them or call? Is that really only 5lbs of stone in your mini-m? looks like a lot more. O and those are some super red cherries you have there. Where did you get them?

Zeldar, you might try calling them as they don't always respond to emails. Just FYI, they probably won't take pictures of their rocks, as I've asked them to before and was denied.

Yes it really is ~5lbs of rock. I weighed them recently before selling. I got my shrimp from sunmiztres on here.
