My Quarantine: Just for Francis!

Just for you Francis. I've been holding a few things around and resetup my quarantine tank for something to do. Setup conists of a Cascade 80 HOB filter and a screw in CFL in a lamp fixture. No CO2, Minimal Ferts, No waterchanges none since I set it up before easter just top offs.

Carpet is Marsala Minuta that I had kept a small patch as backup and needed to do something with it. A few Anubias several will be shipped next week but a better place then in a jar. A few kinds of moss each of 4 rocks has a different one just to see if the grow out.

I wish I still had a couple of special ferns to attach to it but oh well. I may use this for my Pure White CRS at some point. Wish I would have gotten the other ADA Mini M and Mini Solar but the wife had other plans.

Enjoy. If I turn and have enough luck I may eventually move this to my Mini M setup.

Hmm this quarentine tank has potential lol.

If that rock on the left was smaller, i'd like it so much more.

the one on the far left or the really big rock? I can cut the really big rock down as being a mason I have all the neat toys including diamond bladed cutting saws at my disposal.

I mostly threw this together in about 1/2hr with what was laying around so I cna get my room cleaned up and put back together.

Haha. I could see this turning out pretty cool. The anubias actually works in this layout!

Soon enough you'll be consumed by the irresistible urge to improve upon the Iwagumi, and then you'll find yourself with another fully fledged Mini M setup!

I've got some ideas but not in any hurry just something nice to look at in the spare room.

Yeah but i really llike my wood too! Those rocks came out of Oklahoma from a quarry. We used some 10 tons of this stuff on this guys house. That was the nicest piece I saw except a couple that would need 180g tanks and 3 people to lower something that large into the tank wihtout breaking it.

This tank would look fresh with hella shrimp in it. With shrimp climbing on the granite rockface, it would look a lot like El Capitan with climbers making their way up the top.

Yep, ever since I found out I've been wondering why he has been learning to hand carve rocks to make the perfect scape. DIY seiryu stone!

Just a tiny update. I'm moving my SS Hinos over to this tank. They can do as they wish here.
