1.5g "Endless Endlers" pic 6/25

So a LFS has set up an agreement to buy any and all Tiger Endlers that I can breed. So I've set up a 1.5 gallon 'grow out' tank...er...jar. This is a mason jar from Target, I was going to do a pickle jar but I couldn't find any of the giant ones and I don't want to eat that many pickles.

Is it my imagination or are fish fry cuter in a jar?

I am going to add black sand in a few days. The weird stuff on the surface is actually frogs bit and riccia, it's hard to get photos of this thing!

I put it in the kitchen cause there is lots of good light. I wonder what the husband is going to have to say about that...

1.5 jar:

Aren't those Endler's fry great for small cube/jar set up? My smallest fry are in a 4" cube and the next size up are in a 6" cube. The breeding factory is a 5 gal tank!

4" cube,

Something about fry in a jar is just irresitably cute to me. Giggle. I saw your 4" with the fry, that's awesome, and when he grows up you can just put in new! It's an endless nano fish.
