Cool 0.01G Picotope (56K Beware)

Yes, you read it right, 0.01G tank.

This nano tank originated from a cube-shaped glass candle holder that came with a candle I bought a long, long time ago. I'm not sure what kind it is, but these are it's specs:

Dimensions with the glass: (it's a cube so they're all the same) 3"

Dimensions inside the glass: 2.5"

Volume: 0.0108 G
0.0409 L

(the glass is somewhat thick for a container of this size, I guess it used to it look better, concidering it was originally a holder meant for asthetic use only)

But you're probably wanting to see some pics:

I have no idea what the plant is, only that I found it in the Tangipahoa River, LA. Still, I think that it looks cool.

Any constructive criticism and comments are appreciated.

It looks like some sort of fissidens moss, but that is pretty awesome.

yeah, second the fissident. it looks cool , im sure some HC would look nice in there
although i think it'll be inhumane to put any animal in there, maybe daphnia would be cool.

How long have you had this up? I've had trouble growing Fissedens without CO2 personally. And I agree that daphnia would look awesome in there.

FrostyNYC - As far as the moss goes, I found it growing on a log in the tangipahoa river, ripped two pieces off, and put it in my 2.5g. I've had my 2.5g somewhere between 3 and 3.5 months, which has been more than enough time to convince me that it's truly an aquatic species, coupled with the fact that I found it underwater.

I have a 60-watt desk lamp shining on the 2.5g, and I dose ferts regularly. No co2 though... I also have some riccia, some floating, and some tied to a rock, and they also seem to be fine, although I've read that they also usually need co2 to thrive.

Maybe I'm just lucky?

Also, I need a name for this nano tank. Anyone got any suggestions?
