So who did the nano with .............

marimo balls as the ground cover ?? I think it was marimo balls I really want to see this setup

Oliver knott used marimo clado as ground cover, it works similar to riccia carpets

What is holding them down? did they just take the balls and stick em into the substrate??

I dont know , thats why I wanted to see it ,, I vaguely remember reading that he wanted like 15 marimo balls for a nano tank scape

He gently peeled open the balls (they're hollow) and tied portions of them around small rocks with fishing line, the same way you make riccia rocks.
