DjOrijun's 5.5g rim and half Visio

So after being on this forum for about a month now, I decided my little 3g needed an upgrade. So I upgraded to a 5.5g Visio, the reason I'm calling it a rim and a half is because I removed the black rim from only the top half of the tank. Not that I was too lazy to take apart the bottom rim, I just pictured it looking awesome with a rim at the bottom and none at the top.

Contents:
5.5g Visio
Black Flourite for my fert
Tom Aquatics Mini Canister (coming soon)
Office desklamp with a 40w 65k bulb

plants coming soon...

Don't mind the bathroom as my background

Here's an update as of 4/19/09, I want to add some new plant life but don't know what else to get. I was looking to get some Flame Moss for sure, but any other suggestions would be great.

Is that HC I see in the foreground? You've got a lot of open space in the center that'd be good for a carpet. Have you noticed how plant growth has been?

That is HC in the foreground and it is wide open for it to grow there. i'm leaving it blank in the front for a nice carpet. I have noticed my growth going extremely well. Especially with my Hygro in the background

you might want to try seperating that clump of HC a little bit and planting the individual plantlets to speed up the growth. Or maybe even growing some of it emmersed, HC responds pretty well to growth when subjugated to emmersion / submersion.

So as you can see from the pictures I currently have a 30w desklamp on my tank. I wonder if this desklamp is enough because I feel that the housing is too small. I was looking into getting either
Plant Growth
Desklamp
Any other suggestions would also be great.
The tank is 16" Length

So I decided to rescape my tank, for some reason some of my plants weren't liking the old way so I made some changes
