My tank is a about 9 gallons and about the same size as ADA's 45-P. My light is a Finnex Ray LED 15 watt. I am also using CO2 rig off paintball tanks. I have successfully grown HC and some mosses on my first try with the same setup.

I think I'm going to try some Monte Carlo. Thanks for all the input everyone! It's nice to see the online fish hobbyists are just as helpful as the people I've met at fish stores and shows.

HC. Everywhere. Iwagumi setup. Done.

Maybe some AR mini in the back.

Sounds good. HC is kind of what drew me to the hobby and the amazing photos from IAPLC. What is AR mini?

If that were my tank, I would probably do either HC, Monte Carlo or Glosso for the bulk of the foreground, Some small Anubias or Bucephelandras between the rocks, Alternanthera reineckii mini in the back left, and Val or Eleocharis or some other tall, grassy plant for the back right 2/3.

This is a great suggestion as well

What CO2 regulator do you use? I am thinking of going high-tech with my 5 gallon eventually. Layout will most likely be very similar to what you have going on.

Here's my regulator. It attaches to a standard paintball tank.

Thanks for the suggestions. I went with AR, anubias, monte carlo, and still awaiting the val in the mail.

I feel that a small cluster of pogostemon erectus in the back left corner would look nice. Maybe behind a wall of AR mini in front of it to contrast the bright green tones.
