Bagz 3 Gallon to 10 Gallon Journal!! some 56k

Hello i jump into planted tanks in January and i love it, I started with a 3gallon eclipse it was a nice tank for a noob. I just picked up a 10gallon so now i want to share with you my move from 3gallon to 10gallon on a budget.

SPECS
Substrate- Bottom layer Cheap pond potting soil and the top layer black sand.
Lighting- 15 watt PowerGlo going to pick up some mylar for better reflector.
Eqiupment- AC 20 and a 25watt heater.
Co2- Excel till i use it all up then DIY.
Fertilizer- Seachem under gravel tabs and Flourish.
Plant's- Java moss, Java fern, Moneywort, Cork screw val,Echinodorus Amazonicus, Hygrophyla Difformis and ??? can anyone ID the stuff in the middle.
Fish- 5x Rasbora Het and one Black Mystery snail.

I will start off with a pic of my old 3gallon.

Then i Grabbed a used 10 gallon from a friend for free. Then i placed the layer's of substrate.

After i pulled everything out of the 3 gallon and placed into my 46gallon.I decided to turn the old 3 gallon into a RCS breeding tank.

Please tell me what you think so far and i wll update tomorrow with the finished 10 gallon.

Looking like a good start to me. If it grows out fully, you'll have quite a jungle going on. One suggestion would be some foreground plants. Looks to me like all the plants in there are going to get pretty tall and a nice mid/foreground transition would look really nice. Only a suggestion though!

I suggest you put a mesh or something over the filter intake if you plan on breeding rcs in there. If you don't, the babies will get sucked it as they swim by.

Other than that, great start.
