2.5 Slice of Southeast Asia

2.5 gallons of Southeast Asia. plants are Taiwan moss and Needle Leaf Java Fern. 20W of compact flour lighting. im going to try and keep this tank a picotope just for the fun of having a picotope. the only animal roaming this jungle will be some dwarf shrimp

It's not ADA what is this blasphemy!
Jokes. Those two plants shouldn't be hard to keep , and i like the lush green moss.

i knowww dude but mini s's are out of stock everywhere!! yeah i set this tank up to be really simple. its going to go in my parents office once they get the cabinets so i had to use some invincible plants

What filter are you using? I have been unable to find one that is small enough for my 2.5

red sea nano filter. you can find em at petco. but i would go with a zoo med 501 for more flow and filter space. or an aquaclear 10.

No such thing, as I was recently reminded of. The AC20 rates from 5 to 20 gallons with the adjustable flow. I still am worried it's too much current on my 4.5 at the lowest setting.

If I were you'd, I'd try a twin Red Sea Nano setup: one with filter floss and a chemical purification agent, and the other with carbon for water polishing and ceramic balls for bacteria attraction.

ac10 ac20 whatevah i meant the smallest one

carbon pull minerals out of the water that i want to stay in the water for my plants. if anything, i'll get another zoo med and run purigen/filterfloss/ceramic rings
