14g Biocube UPDATED 4/15/09

Hi guys, been in the hobby for about 8 years now and have decided to start doing planted setups so i set up a 14 gallon biocube on Saturday tell me what you guys think and suggestions are always appreciated!

some mazanita spelling i know would look great in there or possibly a plant of the left side would look really nice as well other than that i love the tank its very nice =)

Thats what I was thinking too, I'm going to grab a tough stem plant for right there sinces its where my output nozzle is and i dont want it thrashing the leaves

Looks like a great amazon style aquascape. I'd totally be having a dwarf cichlid or two in there

Thanks Pinto and thanks Outlaw, I just added a Co2 system today, cant wait for results! and i had my lfs order me a coralife 24w 67k to replace the actinic since i dont think a single 24w 10k is nearly enough....

yeah i did the new layout yesterday massive trimming and stuf just has to fill in, im going to get some micro java ferns for the branches and that snail came with some plants i bought i i grew attached to it lol

I'm like Tex Gal -- I thought the first 'scape was incredible. This one's good, don't get me wrong, but, man, that first one was a rookie taking his first swing at a Major League game and hitting a grand slam.
That said, the bones for another great 'scape are all here. Throw in the Java Ferns you mentioned, let 'em get big and bushy and I'll forget all about that first 'scape.
Keep it up, man!
