heating for an ADA Mini-m

I've got all the pieces for an ADA Mini-M (all from sources other than ADA)

custom tank
Zoomed 501
lily pipes on the way
Amazonia soil
27w desk light 6500k

what do most do for a heater?..my basement is cold and I definitely will need one...is there an inline model that would work with the zoo med? or do I just have to stick one in the tank

I would use the little heater that Marineland makes. Its only 10 watts. The other one is the Hydor unit. I have one of these on a 2 gallon tank but dont really like it. The suction cups are made into it and they get hard over time and will not stick to the tank. Here is a link to both

I hope this helps out.

I use a Hagen mini elite 25w, and made it inline w/ pvc and a heyco cordgrip. It's small enough to not be too visible behind my 2.5 gal. Lowest setting keeps it around 72 deg.
