Stocking 10 species tank

Hey everyone. I'm working on setting up the stocking for my ten gallon tank. I would like to do a subtropical setup (no heater) so I am thinking 8 white clouds. I am hoping they will breed. The tank is heavily planted and I am waiting until it is a jungle to add them. Let me know what you think!

Sounds like a good plan. Adding some moss would be good for providing spawning sites.

I am having trouble growing the moss in there right now. It seems to be browning alot. It is tied to driftwood right now, but it is really struggling. What else might be a good surface for eggs? Also it is heavily planted so I'm hoping a few fry survive.

Starting with healthy moss is important - oftentimes the stuff from the LFS is in really rough shape. But any fine filamentous plant like Cabomba, Myriophyllum, or Limnophila sessiliflora would serve a similar purpose. Floating plants with big fluffy roots like frogbit, Salvinia, or watersprite are also good.

I have water sprite in the tank. Basically all of the plants I got shpiped to me are still bouncing back. I've only had them in the tank for just over a week. I also have wisteria and with the higher light it seems to be producing very thin leaves so that might work too!
