Supplementing light in the Spec V?

I was given a Spec V earlier in the week. I admit to not doing any homework on the tank before planting it out, assuming the boasts about the lighting quality on the side of the box was right.

I have looked at what everyone else is doing, but none of the brands (such as finnex) sell in the UK. What I thought about doing is mounting one of these: http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B005VDUSB2/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=130F6QQIZPTYO&coliid=I2G94M3TILRFU8&psc=1to supplement the lighting. Would this work for growing some medium light plants or would it still not be enough?
