Okay nano planted keepers..give me your advice/thoughts

So I derimmed a 2.5g betta tank. It has a mix of aqua soil and sand for substrate, one piece of driftwood, and the plants are

Java moss
Riccia/crysralwort
Anubias
Java fern
Chain swords

I have two root tabs planted, I dose excel flourish 0.5ml daily, a finnex 10' 9w planted plus, azoo palm filter, and diy co2. I'll include some pics and a link to a video. The swords seem nice but some roots refuse to stay buried and I'm afraid to disturb them. Will they die if roots are exposed? I don't notice any melting... Nor growth despite occasionally pearling. The ferns seem wilty and black, as does the anubias. Some hair algae is visible but I'm reducing light cycle and only recently introduced co2. If you notice in the video my reactor falls... Could have been catastrophic lolClick image for larger version

Put in one only bead of Osmocote+ where the current can hit it.
Check nitrates each week and three or four days after putting it in there.
Just on observation, but Java fern/moss Anubias are very slow growing.
Riccia a bit faster(this should be pearling)and I would hazard a guess that the Swords are med speed growth...all in an added CO2 tank. Without adding Potassium.
Leaf Zone has it BTW. But the Osmocote+ may be enough.
I know the soil has the Potassium in it(at least I presume it does).
Don't plant the Rizomes on the Fern or Anubias.

The shortest distance between any two points is a straight line...in the opposite direction...

Thanks for the insight but nothing is planted beside the swords. Just curious as to the condition of the plants and overall how well they look and what steps to take. Osmocote sounds good but I heard to encapsulate it... And that it can cause imbalances quickly. I dose most of that in excel. Riccia has yet to pearl but it's been in for two days
