Talking Zerowater 2g betta tank

Hey aquarium people. so i got a new betta about a month1/2 ago and had him in a 20tall with a 150 biowheel hob he was fine until about 2 days ago he started staying inside his fake tree to avoid the current so i tried to slow the flow but it wasn't good enough. now im looking around at my unused aquariums in my storage and i saw an empty zerowater filter container and bam it hit me he hates flow so a filter is out but the spout on the bottom of the jug would make water changes super easy so i brought it home and set it up needless to say he is very happy and so am i. doing 100% water changes is so easy. i just drain 85% then while it still emptys i just pour some fresh water for a while stop the draining and fill like normal. Theres an album on my profile if you want to see it.Now to the question.... i want to plant it but ive never done a tank this small (12w,10h,5d) and need suggestions on small plants and lighting for this crazy dimension setup. Thanks in advance
