3 gallon acrylic with shrimp
So my shrimp tank (~15 blue velvet neos) has been up for a few weeks now and started getting some algae on the glass. I did a large water change so I could wipe the acrylic with a hand towel, but it's still on the bottom half of the tank. Seems the shrimp don't like the wall algae, though I occasionally see one holding onto the wall for short durations. I looked around and it seems nerites will scratch the acrylic eventually, I have some (4 adult) MTS in there but they aren't cleaning the sides (though I saw a baby climbing around the side yesterday)
So my question is, what can I do to keep the sides clear in this little tank? Looks like amanos like algae more than neos? If it matters I have eco-complete sub.
