Lightbulb Would these automotive lights work well in a nano tank?

Saw these at Walmart, only $16 and super bright. I could place them on top of my Fluval Edge maybe.

They are setup for 12v so would need some wiring. What do you think?

Not sure. it depends on the spectrum of the lights and the temp. I think plants need from 6 to 7 thousand Kelvin and plants use blue and red light. blue in the 400 somethings and red at 660nm. its not necessarily the brightness as much the temp and wavelength that are important. I think brightness just deals in penetration of depth of the eater.

I believe that it's 6,700k-10,000k spectrum for plants. I lean towards 6700k personally, I find that my 10K makes things look a bit washed out and mutes colors. Adding some warmer tones fixes that pretty well.
