half gallon 10 mos update

The shrimp do well but don't breed as fast as they do in my larger tank

I actually didn't want a feeder guppy in here but it's required, without a fish the pods run wild and I dislike the swarm, hundreds w develop. stocked with plants from my other tank there were too many hitchhikers

some juvenile shrimp survived his pickings. He's harmless to adult cherries

had an ultra tiny juvenile badis for a while, no pods... he became mean to the neos

substrate is from livewithnature.net

next time I'd probably use amazonia

still, sealed tank. no evap, no heating, no water motion. it is designed to live ultra long term, adapted to temp changes with the seasons. 80 in summer, 72 winter no prob
the lid can be raised for work, but runs sealed locked into place.

How the paintball co2 system fills up co2 mini capture tubes, they run like atomic clocks. Six hours drain, one 12 oz co2 lasts three years

comes on one minute, twice a day. has been expanded to six tubes now
