Newbie with a 4g Finnex

Hi all. Been around the forum for a while but just recently signed up. I'm a born again aquarist if you will. Messed with planted aquariums about 10 years ago, but do to my military life had to give it up. So, I just got back into it a little. The amount of information available on the web today is amazing. I put together this little nano the other day. Please comment or critique as necessary, I can take it. After all, we learn from our mistakes. Thanks.

it's good actually. But, what was the front-field for?..cause i thought, since your DW was the focal point, maybe adding a couple small rocks nearby your DW, and HG as a background plant, also HG and glosso as a front-carpet..

Thanks for the kind words everyone.

Yeah, brt p, I'm not really sure what my vision was with the open field. I just kinda liked it, so I went with it. Do you think that a rock or two in the field would work? Maybe I'll see what I can come up with. Definately got me thinking now. lol

Maybe if the clearing had a different colored sand or gravel, or maybe just three small rocks that help define an edge to the clearing. I think that's all it needs, the placement of the wood and plants looks perfect.
