Fluval Flora 7.9 G planted w/stock co2

Hello everyone, just recently came across this site and wanted to share my new tank with you. Here are a couple pics and I'll include a little YouTube video I made about it.

Any suggestions as to what fish I should add?

Thanks for watching!

Turn off your CO2. The way that diffuser works is you fill the bell then turn off the gas. You don't leave it bubbling as you are just wasting CO2 and those bubbles aren't doing anything.

Yep. The bottom chamber fills then bubbles to the top, the top chamber fills and bubbles to the water. Check on how long it diffuses then possibly fill it twice a day if you want. Mine is on my desk and I fill when I get there in the morning and at lunch.

If you fill it once a day it will be better than nothing. People bubbling them like you did is why they get a bad reputation of not lasting long.

Hey thanks so much! I've never ran co2 and the store employee told me to set the valve to allow a "bubble every 10 seconds"

I really appreciate it ($$$$)

Looks nice. I'm always a fan of sparkling gouramis or shrimp for nano set-ups.

In my 7.9 Fluval EbI (same tank as flora) I have a large colony of Ultra Red Cherry Shrimp and 10 Strawberry Rasbora and small Male Fancy Guppies.

Once the tank is fully planted these small fish looks so cool in the tank. Good luck hope to see more pics soon.

You likely used up a bunch of that cartridge so when you buy a replacement buy the cheaper 16 gram threaded ones from eBay or amazon. about 1 dollar each.
