Mine's smaller

[insert snickering here]

This was a box that I got a set of dice in. It's 4cm x4 x5.5 (functionally only 5cm tall though), or 80 ml. It's a shame the top broke, but apparently everyone else had the tops of their dice boxes break as well. Oh well. I painted two sides of the 'tank' black as they were badly scratched. Worked out for the best I think.

The rocks are some slate chips I had lying around, and the substrate is borrowed from another tank. There's 2 specs of Osmocote+ buried in there, so theoretically, there can be plant growth in the tank.

Volume: Functionally 80ml
Light: extra light from 15 watt CFL over another tank
Substrate: Midnight Black gravel/sand from Substrate Source
Ferts: 2 pieces of O+

Plants:
-2 Anubias Nana - no idea where plantlets this small came from though
-1 Java fern plantlet
-1 Sunset Hygro leaf plantlet

Now I feel an urge to do the same in a dice. Ok, challenge accepted

I've always wanted to do a "living" Xmas ornament with a clear glass ball. This tiny tank is very very cool! Good job!

I have a ton of those dice cases! (Might be a bit obsessed with polyhedrals) As for plants that small? That might take some doing. Leave a die in there as a center piece and these would make great gifts for gamers!

My tank -

Java fern plantlets are easy enough to get, and the one bright plant in front is a plantlet from a hygro leaf that was allowed to float and sprout into a plant. No idea at all where the mico anubias came from. They've been that size for months, just hiding (lost one for 3 months), and chilling.
