First Nano - 4~5 Gallon tank

Hey all..

My name is Bruno and I'm from Brazil, I'm learning english, so please, don't care about my mistakes (and if you want to correct me, go ahead!)

I've been reading this forum a month, and I've decided to make my account!

First of all, this is my first Nano Tank, and my friend gave it to me 1 week ago...

I picked up the tank with the plants, and a lot of algaes... so I'm still trying to get them out and trying to make a Iwagumi style ! !

Dimension: 35x17x23
Lighting: 13w
CO2 System: Natural Plant Systems - Hagen (Bottle)
Fertil Plant

What do you guys think about it?!

Any sugestion?!

Hey Bruno, I'm from Brazil as well. I finally found someone from Brazil on this forum. I think your tank looks great. Really has potential, but I would recommend spacing out the rocks just a LITTLE. Just to make sure there aren't any dead spots.

Bruno nice start. I hope to visit Brazil some time in the future. Maybe for carnaval. I like the look of the stones but they will look more natural if they are off center. Also slope your substrate to add more depth.

I love that rock cluster! Great start! I've got this same tank, picotopes rule.

Very pretty tank. I hope it grows in well.

I like the new rock layout better. I think I would shift the whole rock formation to the right. It's pretty centered in the frame of the tank edges, and a little asymmetry goes a long way.

^ +1.

It definitely is off to a great start, and I see good things coming from this tank... but I really think you should take that whole rock layout and shift it slightly to the side. Left or right, take your pick, but right now, it's too centered. In planted tanks we tend to stay away from symmetry because it looks unnatural.

Good job so far!
