Ever try a moss wall?

Has anyone ever tried putting up a moss wall in their nano tank? It's easy, looks fabulous and the shrimp still have room to climb all over it while your landscape stays intact.

Did you try this already? Do you have any pics?

Yes, Melissa I have two moss walls. They have filled out nicely. I want to start one with Fissidens now instead of Java. The Java Moss wall has filled out well and the shrimp love to climb all over it. They keep it clean and have lots to pick at. I just posted on Tuesday some set-ups that I have made up from some left over material that I had ordered earlier in the year. I can make one up for you if you like. All you need is the moss. All that you have to do is spread the moss out thinly onto the mesh and sandwich the other half of the mesh onto the first mesh, put on the suction cups and wa-la!! All done. Put it on the tank and wait.

My lights just turned off for today on the tanks, but if you look under my avatar under "view user tanks" you can see on the 29 gallon shrimp tank in the background a piece of the wall. I can take more pics later if you need more.

Here are three moss walls. I found christmas moss works best. This is from my old, now decommissioned 2.5g tank:
