2.5g Iwagami! Mystery field...

Well this is my first planted tank. Originally a test tank to this new world of planted aquariums! Anyways here some pics of it's journey.

Rocks collected locally.

As you can see the layout is more like old school iwagami.

Nice work

Lol thanks guys. For this tank it was all time a patience. For the past 2 months I've been without Co2.

This is the tank that I was talking about a while ago how I leave the lights on for 16 hours a day and no Algae blooms. I think this is because the tank is matured and such. But I bet there a scientific answer to it all. Now I know that 16hrs a day is supposedly bad for any tank but this is a test tank still. It's ben through alot so far. Now sure if I should tare it down though?

I've never tare down a beautiful tank yet! So I think you guys can tell me some input on what to do?

Ohh that moss is actually Java Moss!!!

Here are specs:

2.5g tank
Substrate: A mix between Amazonian II and Amazonian I powdered
Lights: Regular desktop 27watt light.
A small 6inch heater that I can't seem to find anywhere.
Inhabitants are: Cherry Shrimp and annoying snails!
Flora: Java Moss, Dwarf Hairgrass, HC ( can't spell it!), and a mystery plant ( It is on the right side of tank that is stays relatively that size. I think it is some sort of Java Fern. I original got it at petco and my crayfish ate the thing and left a little piece left and What you see is what it grew into!

Future of this tank I am not sure?

Also next time I will prepare the tank with background and without all equipment!

Thanks for replying guys.
