First Nano and First Planted Tank.

Hi!

I recently bought a Marineland Crescent 3 for my betta. He loves it and I decided to try to do some live plants in it... I only have 4 very small amazon swords in it, but all seem to be doing well for the week or so they have been in there. Was a little melt back when they first got in but there is new growth! Im so excited... Nothing is special about the tank, its inert gravel with some flourish tabs under the plants. Light is on for 10-11 hours a day and plants seem ok. Its a great learning experience... Ill try and snap a few pics soon to post.

Keep us posted. I am interested to see how that tank does. I kind of want to grab one for my bookshelf and just keep it as is for a shrimp only tank with lots of anubias nana & petite. Also, if you want to get into excel dosing....it is super affordable in small tanks like this.

Cool... Ill try to... I changed nothing about the tank.. im using the LED that came with it... all I bought is a heater for it... I'm not sure about the filter in it though.... kinda big and bulky looking in the back... but the tank is kinda bare atm... so maybe I can get it to disappear behind stuff lol

That was the one thing I didn't like about the set-up, I wish it came with an AquaClear instead. Potential upgrade down the road maybe.
