These are the plans for my planted 10 gallon tank so far.
The substrate will be at its lowest point in the glosso field, then on the left the level will rise slowly starting at the pennywort and then rise to its highest point all along the back of the tank. The driftwood will be "rooted" in the back corner in the raised area and overhang the right side of the glosso field.
Should I find another plant for the dark blue area in the back, or extend the rotala sp. green all the way to the driftwood?
Would that fixture provide enough light for all of the plants I have listed? Or should I bump it up to the 2x40W model. (keep in mind that this will be mounted with the legs so the fixture will be a few inches above the water. There wil also be CO2 added via DIY reactor). I am looking for quick, lush plant growth that will result in DENSE patches, especially with the pennywort, rotala and glosso.
What do you guys think of this aquascape plan. Does it have good balance? Will my plant selection and arrangement work well?
Let me know WHATEVER you think. I'm not afraid of a little criticism!
