Yes I believe they are! Tank started emersed on the last week of June this year.
HC filled in on the 2nd week of August and that's also when I filled the tank in with water.
Tank is now more or less 5 months old.

Your tank is truly simple and elegant!

Don't know what your plans are for the barbs, but they'll grow to 3" and need to be kept in large planted tanks in schools of minimum 6 to try and prevent them from attacking each other.

They really need tall plants since that is where they spawn.

UGF? as in the filter? i thought they were bad for a planted tank...

10g planted pea puffer tank (Ceviche)
10g planted freshwater invert tank
map turtle (Tamago and Wasabi) (moved to a small pond)
