Shrimp Cube

Size: 5.5gallon cube
Stock: Sakura Shrimp and Cherries

Really low tech tank my boss lets me run at the shop. All it is is shrimp pellet substrate, excel/flourish/iron/nitrogen 3 times a week with 2gallon RO water changes with equilibrium and akaline buffer for kH and little higher pH twice a week.

Lots of nice plant growth... The stem plants absolutely thrive under these conditions.

That is cabomba!! I cultivate the plant weekly into two stems of 4 and put them on sale for $3.99. They grow quite well in soft no/low current conditions.

Wow this is awesome. Great Job!

I recently just started my own shrimp cube and I was wondering if you could name the plants in that tank?

Specifically, the grassy patch on the right and the anubias looking plant on the left above the Java

Thanks

The big tall grassy stuff is drawf hair grass. No co2 injection, this stuff really grows slow but it can be done.

That Anubis style plant is actually just a rooted banana plant.
