Spec 2 or 3?

Hey, I've been out of the hobby for a while and bought a Spec V last year planning to get back into it. Life got in the way and I just started planning again. Then I found out that the local purveyor of awesome nano fish is having supply problems.

So, now I want to cut back even more, get a Spec 2 or 3, a nice beta and some shrimp and call it a day. Low to medium light plants, no CO2. What's best for this, the 2 or 3? How's the stock lighting on each? Is it the same filter/pump system? Thanks.

If you want a Betta + shrimp I'd say go with the Spec 3 to give them all some room. You'll want a tank large enough for a heater too since the betta would prefer temps around 78 F.
