Talking 3 gallon Planted Picotope "The Hedge"

Alright,

I recently moved to San Diego to attend the University of California at San Diego as a Human Biology Major. Since I moved in my new apartment I decided to set up another nano to go along with my 1.5 Cube (click here to see). I am still in love with shrimp, and I found a good supplier here in San Diego of Bororas Briggites. So without further ado heres the tank (its been running for 3 weeks now):

Specs:
3 gallon Picotope
27 watt Hamton Bay Lamp
Nano filter (red sea style)
Eco Complete substrate

Flora:
Unidentified sword plant (has flower buds). Can someone I.D. it for me?
Amazon Sword (it was a petsmart runner)
Dwarf Hair grass
Blyxa
Anubias Nana Petite
Cabomba sp.
rotala mexicana
Java Moss

Fauna:
10 Bororas Briggitae (99cents each!!!)
~10 RCS

Ferts:
Flourish Excel

nana petite

Thanks for looking!

Very nice tank...looks spacious for a nano!

I love when people do really cool things in such small spaces. I really like that driftwood (the arches) - where did you find it + what did you seed it with?

yah picotopes are made for more surface area... however the sacrifice in height. The driftwood is actually an aquatic vine thing that they sell for reptile tanks. I took java moss and attached it with fishing line to the vine. No seeds! The vines are also featured in my cube (see OP for link). Thanks for the comments! I'll post more pix when it grows up.

Wow nice tank! Very nice plant choices, it DEFINITELY looks larger than 3 gallons! Can't wait to see it mature
