Do!aqua "the root"

New low tech 5.5gallon ada d!aqua tank

Starting today!
Got my filter and light in mail finally

Light-Finnex planted clip
Filter-zoomed 501

Plants I have so far.
Small amount of fissiden, weeping moss
Blyxa( about 8 stems)
3 petite Anubias
1 large crypt( can't remember name)

To buy
Moss, maybe christmas

This was my first attempt at the hardscape

I think it depends on what you plan to grow. I personally like the first one, but the second arrangement presents a good opportunity to grow a wall of stems in the back that wrap around to that open, empty spot on the left. The first would look good with something like an Anubias nana at the substrate just below the overhang and some helferi in front of the stones, etc.

Better pictures would help. Hard to evaluate the line of a layout with all the visual clutter behind it--just put something up on the back of the tank or behind it to mask all that stuff out. Ideally shoot so you're showing the whole tank from mid or slightly below mid level as well so we're seeing straight into the tank head on.
