pico -ium dirted bowl, no cap

Riparium? Paludarium?

Had this set up as a simple little fountain-ish thing for awhile. Decided to actually add some dirt and make it a functional planted bowl. The bowl holds 3/4 gallon, probably only a few cups of water in there at the moment.

Used plain washed garden dirt, and didn't bother with a cap, given that it was such a small amount. Dirt really doesn't need a cap all the time, especially when it's been washed properly.

Mostly it's obnoxiously large pebbles with a small little pump buried under those. The pump is from a small filter that didn't work so I took it apart. The cord is annoying; it's very stiff and doesn't want to bend how I want it to.

I think the sword-ish thing is microsword. Its been growing outside in my pond for a while, seems to grow relatively well. It's been getting colder outside, so hopefully it will take to cushy indoor life with ease.

There's also golden creeping jenny, and some tropical vine thingy, pothos maybe? Oh, and dwarf water lettuce.

Looked a little cloudy? The next morning it was fine. Since I'm mainly viewing this from the top down, the cloudiness from the sides doesn't matter.
