Nano Buce Tanks

Just adjusting this thread to cover all my Nano's full of Bucephalandra. (I actually have 8 total).

Tank 1: 12" Cube
I just put together this setup over the weekend, figured I'd post it up here. What I am realizing that with a cube, a more 3d setup makes it very hard to photo! I did my best here, but I think it's a bit hard to tell what's going on. I think as the plants grow out some the "tree" will stand out more and the background will even out nicely.

Equipment:
12" cube = 7.5g
16" finnex Ray 2 light
25w heater
Aqueon 10 internal filter
EI Ferts
Paintball Injected Co2 - .5 bpm
Lava rocks
"Bonsai" Driftwood tree

Water:
Temp 77
ph 6.9

Plants:
Background - Bucephalandra Mini Belindea tied to rocks
Tree - Bucephalandra Pygmea
Foreground - Eletine Hydropiper (not much growth yet)

Animals:
Black Panda Guppies
Red Ramshorn Snails

And here is the tank on Oct 2, just 4 days after setup.

Tank 2: Buce Farm
ADA tank = ~10g
16" finnex Ray 2 light
25w heater
Aqueon 10 internal filter
EI Ferts
Paintball Injected Co2 - 1 bpm
Lava rocks to hold the Buce

Water:
Temp 77
ph 7

Plants:
See the Image!

Animals:
Koi Swordtails
Red Ramshorn Snails

Tank 3: Cardinals
Custom Bookshelf tank = 5.5g
16" finnex Ray 2 light
25w heater
Aqueon 10 internal filter
No Co2
No Ferts
Seiru Stone

Water:
Temp 83
ph 7.9

Plants:
Bucephalandra Grey Aurora

Animals:
Sulawesi Cardinal Shrimp colony (most of the shy little guys are hiding)

I will include more tanks as they get to a good place, in the process of rebuilding a few of them. All will be updated in this thread!

Beautiful tank Eric! You beat me to it! hahaha

I picked up 2 of those bonsai driftwood trees, 1 med & 1 sm, from Revspeed.

I'm still going to do it though. I guess I'll just use my mini 'sherry red' buce or another mini buce like the 'coin' or 'imut' for the tree. Still waiting for my Pygmea that I got from you to cluster up...

Keep it up man...very pleasing to my eyes!

Buce fanatics woot woot!

yeah, definitely do it Tyrone, Buce makes a great option for leaves on these bonsai trees. This is still obviously a work in progress, but damn does it take a lot of the stuff. Good thing I've been growing Pygmea for a LONG time, lol.

As you can see, I have a lot of mini belindae too...probably too much in there!

Do it Islandgaliam, it's a fun build

I'll take some of your mini belindae, if it's too much!

The black lava rock (it's actually a mix of black and red) was just from home depot, they have it in the section with their bbq grills, a nice sized bag for just over $4. Looks like this:

Just boil them to make sure, but it's a nice selection of size, shape, and color.

Glad I can tempt you echord!

Ok, updated this thread with 2 more of my Buce filled Nano tanks. Will continue to update them all in 1 thread (and hopefully add a few more of my nano buce tanks as they get rebuilt).

Thanks for looking!
