Thank you, still waiting for most of it to grow in. The flame moss is starting to send its fronds up, the fissidens however is slow like molasses.

The substrate is Eco Complete. The 10 gallon is a mix of the good bag and the bad bag. The 4 gallon is all good.

There's a 40 watt coralife aqualight on the 10 gallon, adds maybe 2 degrees f.

The other catalina aquarium fixture is 26 watts on the 4 gallon, not sure how much heat it adds since I don't have a thermometer in there yet.

i can't seem seem to find a 20" 40w coralife. I've been looking for something that look that neat for my own 10G as well. Mind telling me the model that you got, and where u got them from? Thanks, appreciate it..luv your tanks by the way.

A 40W PC bulb will work in the 20" 28W Coralife Fixture. That's what I had for my 10g.

It's a 40 watt pc bulb from Big Al's fitted into the 28 watt coralife fixture.

Thanks all for the comments, i'll give some updates in a week or so. Some of my juvenile shrimps are starting to really color up.
