Exclamation 2 liter extreme nano with pics

i was looking in the latest "TROPICALFISH" magazine and saw these extream nanos so i went out to the old welfair-mart and bought a 2L jar thing and bought a micro sword and took white sand from one of my dads old tanks and put it all together i'll post some picks in the moring but tell me what you think when i get it up thanks

i saw those on the internet a while ago, i had a couple of lightbulb "tanks" with hairgrass and micro sword in them

Thats funky. I really like the idea of having something small like that with just a plant. Although you may still need to fertilize depending on plant of choice and wattage.

i have a 26 watt 6500K cp and i use a betta for ferts and 50% tap water 50% ro-water cuz my water is super hard

I have a 26w over a 6g with diy co2 and I needed fertz.

yeah but the little one on the hand is WAY smaller then that. i think the guy does water changes with an eyedropper or something.

it might turn out really good, but its too bad that the jar has the grips on the side, and the plastic has low visibility (or is that just your water?).

These are kind of old pics of my nano and pico. I keep it on the shelf in front of a window. No lights, no ferts, other than about once a week I will drop in a few "Crab Bites" for the snails. The shrimp died out about a year ago. They lived happily in the Nano for over a year. I'm not sure what it was that did them in.

thats awesome i love seeing other peoples tanks i would love to get some cherrys for my tank but its hard to even find dicent fish where i'm at the only fish store we have is at a wal-mart witch is not cool at all

betta shouldnt be kept in such small containers, unless its only temporary a betta should have at least a gallon. even that is too small and eventually takes its toll and shortens the lifespan of the fish.
