nano tanks in britain

hi, ive been circulating these forums for a while now but havent posted much, im interested in setting up a nano tank but cant seem to find any on british websites. any british users here who could point me in the right direction, there also seems to be no suitable desktop lamps on sites such as b&q and homebase (diy stores). any help is much appreciated

I can, ukaps.org will help but we have few nano knowledge members. I have a nano myself and I'm simply resting the tube on the tank until I get something more suitable.
If you do multiple nano's you could use a luminaire over all of them.

hey welcome check out www.aquaessentials.co.uk for anythign u cud ever want for nanos

ive had a couple of nanos and i still havent found a good lamp i just rest the tube on the tank

There are some better shops for nano's AE is expencive just shop around.
Your local shop will help get you a tank custom made for a fraction of the cost of a AE nano.
I got a quote of 24 for a 12" cube, AE sell them for 50.

Yes but I maintain your better just diying some "gallows" to hang a power compact from.
Make sure to join Ukaps.org you'll get much more uk based help.

hey garuf what other online shops would you reccomend?, i agree AE is very overpriced but having most things in the same place is convenient.
