3 gallon "Water Wonders"

I just got my girlfriend one of these tanks from wall mart, for a little valentines day gift. It's for her beta fish. It's basically just a 3 gallon cube, with a black storage area underneath it. It's actually quite visually pleasing, surprisingly. Anyone have experience with these? It comes with an submersible filter. I got her a mini heater, for 2-15 gallons, as well as some natural gravel, some stress coat, and food. It's all came to around 60 bucks.

You guys think this would be good for a nano tank?

You didn't buy her a gift that you could play with did you?? Is it the one with the led light? If so, is that detachable? I'd imagine that if you could put a decent light on it, that it would work fine for a nano. I prefer glass over acrylic, but to each his/her own.
