I took some brand new pics of my tanks last night and would like to share them with you guys. The rest of my personal site is nowhere near complete, but I tried to throw the aquarium section together just so people could check out the photos.

All of these were also taken with my crappy webcam  Hopefully I can get a real digital camera one of these days.

Looks nice! How deep is the substrate in your 10G? I can't find any algae in your tank. Any luck finding true SAE in Austin?
I have an extra Jalli 13Watts 67K PC hood that I'm thinking about throwing over either a 5G or 2.5G.

Substrate in the 10g is about 2.5" deep.

Nope, not much algae. The otos and amano shrimp keep it very clean in there

What's an SAE?

Siamese Algae Eater http://groups.msn.com/LyreTailsAquarium/sae.msnw

I went to Austin Aquarium like you suggested, but they were out of the Amano shrimp. They're supposed to order some more, so I might go up there tomorrow.

Oh, no I heard those things get really aggressive when they get bigger. The otos stay small and peaceful so I only use them.

Austin Aquariums usually gets huge shipments of Amano Shrimp in when they do get them. They also have better prices than everyone else

I tried one Oto, but they kicked the bucket after one night. How's that Red Sea Flora Base working out? Does it keep your pH at 6.5 to 7.0 without having to dose CO2? Does it still get cloudy when you mess with the substrate. I have Eco-Complete, and are wanting to setup different tanks with different kind of gravel for a change of scenery. I haven't tried anything other then Eco-Complete due to fear of other substrate clouding up the tank.

Looks great. Lots of variety for a 10 gallon.

The Red Sea Florabase is nice, but it does cloud the water really bad. I also don't like the brown color of it. I would go with the Eco-Complete like you're doing since it's dark and doesn't cloud the water. I use it in my 5-gallon and I love it
