My 2.5 gallon

Any suggestions are appreciated. Sorry it's a camera phone pic. I will probably get a digital camera right after I fulfill all of my fish dreams.

The plants are: mini pellia (not visible), Rotala sp. Green, x-mas moss, HC, HM, nana petite, hairgrass (on the far left side by the glass) and Marimo.

The marimo is evil. I have the hardest time trying to get it not to overgrow everything, I tried cutting back on phosphate, upping nitrates and excel (which just gives it big dead patches). But I like the plant too much to get rid of it.

I'm using ember tetras for their contrast to all the green, there's also an otto. I tried shrimp, but most of them somehow get under the marimo and die there, so after a while I gave up.

Looks very nice. Except picture quality does no justice for that nice green tank.

This is a beautiful tank! It looks like your Marimo plant is slowly taking over, however. I love the lush green growth.
