2g Light upgrade!
Im new to this forum and relatively new to the hobby. Currently I have a small 2g fluval spec I with stock lighting and these plants:
Cabomba in the background
After 4 months from starting the tank i completely ditched the idea of having boring useless fake plastic plants and Ive had the moss ball and the anubia for about 6 months now and theyve been doing well (granted some mistakes here and there but they've been forgiving plants). I decided I wanted more green and added in the dying java fern from petsmart and the much more attractive looking cabombas. The java fern however has become much healthier and is growing several new leaves ( I imaging to replace the almost transparent old leaves i had when I got it that droop in my tank). The cabomba is surviving but looking less attractive. The tank is heated and i fertize every week with liquid fertizer. In addition to my plants I also own a crowntail teal blue betta and a golden mystery snail and they also seem to be doing well.
I have been thinking about upgrading the lights on the tank for 2 main reasons
1) would like to have higher lighting plants in there too later down the road too, would also like the cabomba to be a little more lively.
2) the adapter and stock light are quite literally falling apart.
does anyone know any LED light systems for my small planted tank that could turn the tank into a medium/high light tank, fair warning im a student and would like to spend less then 100$ on the lighting upgrade. Also if they could ship to Canada where i live that would be awesome!
P.S. im also really bad with tech stuff so if I could just plug it into the wall that would be awesome.
