Sarah's Ghetto Nano

Since I've done the very big tank(110) I decided to give the very small one (1 gal) a try!

It's pretty much as ghetto as you can get....1 gal betta tank with natural river clay substrate and some grasses I had left over from planting the foreground of my 110. It has no heater, filter, or anything remotely technological. It gets natural sunlight as well as the 6 watts of light from the stock light bulb whenever I remember to turn it on.

Right now it has no inhabitants and I'm still trying to figure out how to get the grasses to stay planted in the clay. I've never done straight up clay before, only a clay and gravel mix so this is a new experiment.

Pretty much all the light it gets

Down from the top

Quality control inspection

On duty guard

And there you have it!

110 Tall in progress!
